Hourly Rate = Annual Salary ÷ (Hours per Week × Weeks Worked per Year)

Worked Example

A $52,000 salary at 40 hours a week for all 52 weeks: Hourly Rate = $52,000 ÷ (40 × 52) = $52,000 ÷ 2,080 = $25 per hour.

Does this account for unpaid time off?

Only if you adjust "Weeks Worked per Year" under More options. The default of 52 assumes paid time off; lowering it to, say, 50 spreads your salary over fewer actual working weeks, which raises your effective hourly rate.
